SO THIS IS HOW YOU VACATION?
Well, it has been a while since we have been present and we would like to tell you about some big, long, dreamy vacation; however, that would be a bold-faced lie. Here is the real scoop!
The past several months have been spent delivering pretzels to the myriad of Event Professionals around Nashville. It is amazing how many deliveries this actually has been; however, once you start to peel back the layers of the event world ‘onion,’ you realize just how big that community really is. We are pleased to see our work begin to appear in bread baskets, appetizers, late night snack offerings, wedding favor bags, breakfast buffets, reception stations and boxed lunches all across Middle Tennessee. Thank you to the creatives that continue to share the good ideas and push our production skills to new levels.
Nashville continues to grow and grow and grow and we hope to do that ourselves. With the intention of being a wholesale pretzel provider, we quickly learned that obvious places where you would naturally expect to find pretzels are a pay-to-play environment and expenses of that magnitude aren’t quite feasible……yet! So, we set our sights on Bridgestone Arena, Nissan, Vanderbilt and the new soccer stadiums and First Tennessee Park with hopes of making it to the big leagues soon.
In the meantime, we are steadily growing our wholesale business through outlets that are looking to “elevate the pretzel experience” for their guests. Hotels and independent catering companies have been our biggest growth segments thus far but, we look to find growth in the law firm, real estate and medical office environments too. One recent request was for us to join the Thursday Market at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After much research we learned that market is highly sought after and the vendors are juried through Nashville Farmer’s Market. We currently have our application on file.
So, we would love to hear any input you have regarding potential growth opportunities for our business. We are working toward a brick and mortar location; however, other opportunities abound until that comes to fruition. So, what do you say? Where would you like to find one of these twists of heaven next?

I love being able to buy your pretzels at Picnic Tap. I’m a Germantown resident so it’s in my neighborhood. I also think the perfect place for your brick and mortar is Germantown. That’s exactly what I recommended at last year’s Oktoberfest when I first tried them.
BTW Vince, I’m Amber Hurdle’s mom. 😉
Robyn, thank you for your suggestions. We fully agree that Germantown would be a perfect location and continue to look at all opportunities in that area. The Picnic Tap has been a great customer and outlet for us to send individual customers to. Thank you for being a customer of both of us.
